There’s nothing more exciting than to walk into a church or concert venue and immediately feel the presence of God. Many times we say something like “God has shown up”. Of course we know the God we serve is an omnipresent God. That is, He’s everywhere all the time. However, there is some truth to the statement “when God shows up”. You see every true believer, every follower of Jesus is filled with the Spirit of God. So when we gather or congregate, we bring Him with us. God DOES show up in very manifested way. The song, Surely the Lord, celebrates this fact. When we gather, there is always a hope for the miraculous. My prayer is that when you listen to Surely the Lord, you will not only hope but EXPECT God to move in miraculous ways.
